Virtual Reality is an up and coming concept. Whether it is a video game console, consulting company, or home design business virtual reality is seeming to encompass it's influence throughout society. The basic concept is to be able to create, build, and experience a virtual world outside of the one we currently live in and through various software, testing, and development make the world as real as possible. Virtual Worlds are being utilized throughout industries, organizations, and cultures. In the Washington Post Article, "At Hearing, Real and Virtual Worlds Collide", details about how "a virtual depiction of the Rayburn House Office Building meeting room was projected on television screens" describes the use of virtual reality in a political environment. I believe the future of this concept is vast, if the technology is further developed and the price of using and applying it or larger scales becomes more affordable, many disruptions will happen throughout the construction, selling, and hardware industries.
